8:00am: The Breakfast Shed in Brooksville presents "Omelets for Omnivores", breakfast followed by a guided hike in Holbrook Island Sanctuary in search of indigenous plants and animals. $20 per person - space is limited and reservations are required, call (207) 326-9700
6:30pm: The Blue Hill Inn teams up with El El Frijoles for a wine dinner with Latin flair at the inn. Call for information or reservations, (207) 374-2844
9:00am to 11:30am: Blue Hill Farmers' Market in the parking lot of the First Congregational Church of Blue Hill
1:00pm to 4:00pm: The Blue Hill Inn presents an Artisan Chocolate Making class with Kate Shaffer of Black Dinah Chocolatiers. This hands-on class will include instruction on how chocolate is made, common chocolate mistakes and how to fix them, and working with chocolate(see below for full course description. The class is $50 per person and includes materials. Space is very limited and reservations are required. Call the Inn at (207) 374-2844 to register.
5:00pm to 7:00pm: Barncastle offers a traditional lobster bake. Reservations required, call (207) 374-2300.
6:00pm: Arborvine presents an elegant five-course wine dinner. Call for reservations, (207) 374-2119.
11:00am to 3:00pm: A Taste of the Peninsula on the grounds of Mainescape Garden Center, South Street in Blue Hill - a showcase of the area's chef and specialty food producers. Includes a chowder contest with local celebrity judges at Noon. Live music throughout.
3:00pm: Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival hosts a concert.
