Blue Hill Public Library invites the public to learn about all of the wonderful ways to enjoy the outdoors in our area all winter long, on Wednesday, December 12th at 6:00 PM. While many people enjoy the natural beauty and recreation opportunities in our area during the warmer months, winter weather can often keep folks inside. This presentation will feature many opportunities for folks to get out and be active this winter.

Several local organizations will give short presentations about their resources and ways folks can get active and involved, including Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Great Pond Mountain Trust, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Downeast Audubon, Blue Hill Peninsula Nordic Ski Club, and Blue Hill Skating Club. They will be covering activities like walking, hiking, skiing, skating, snowshoeing, bird-watching, snowmobiling, and sledding, People don’t have to let the winter blues get them down!

This presentation is free, and everyone is welcome. For more information contact the library at 374-5515.
