Kids ages 9 to13 are invited to a program on the wonders of snowflakes with Emily Carvalho of Explore Outdoors! on Wednesday, February 19 at 4:00 PM, at the Blue Hill Public Library. Participants should come prepared for an outdoor adventure to collect snowflakes that they will examine and preserve. The workshop will end with a discussion on the importance of snow and a sweet treat.
This program is co-sponsored by the library and Explore Outdoors! – a collaboration between Downeast Audubon and Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust.
