Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust for the 2nd in their 3 part Conservation Lecture Series. Tonight’s topic- Managing your forest for wildlife.

Ninety percent of Maine is forested, and these forests provide habitat for hundreds of species of fish and wildlife. It is important that we understand how to conserve and manage the wildlife habitat and ecological services that the forest provides, so we can protect these invaluable resources as pressure on our forests grows. Join Sandy Walczyk, Conservation Forest Manager for the Blue Hill Heritage Trust, for a discussion about the forest management techniques that can be used to improve and protect wildlife habitat in our local forest. Sandy has a background in wildlife biology and conservation, and is a licensed Maine forester.
