Camden Conference Discussion Series At the Blue Hill Public Library

The Blue Hill Public Library will be holding a three session discussion series hosted by former U.S. Diplomat Bob Sargent, in connection with the 33rd annual Camden Conference, starting Monday February 10th. Two other meetings are on Tuesday, February 18th and Monday, March 2nd, and all from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The Camden Conference itself runs from February 21st to 23rd in Camden, between the second and third discussion sessions. The discussion series is free, but space is limited, so registration is required.

This series is designed to help participants achieve optimal benefit from participation in the Camden Conference. In the first two sessions, participants will consider a list of questions deemed relevant and provocative to the theme of the conference, which this year is “The Media Revolution: Changing the World” In the third session, participants will review and discuss findings and recommendations that surfaced during the Camden Conference.

Bob Sargent’s diplomatic assignments have included Belgium, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam. He is a former member of the Camden Conference Board of Directors and Advisory Board and a three-time conference program chair.
