Join the Blue Hill Garden Club and Blue Hill Heritage Trust for a presentation on the forest types of the Blue Hill Peninsula. The Blue Hill Peninsula has a wide variety of forest types as a result of the regions’ diverse soils, topography and land use history. Come learn a little about how and why different forest types develop, and about where you can find these forests on Blue Hill Heritage Trust Land. Presented by Terri Coolong, District Forester with Maine Forest Service, and Sandy Walczyk, Forester with Blue Hill Heritage Trust.
