Kids 10 to 18 years of age are invited to a workshop with “Gizmo Garden” to learn how to make a “Robopot,” at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday, January 26th at 1:30 PM. Each participant will design and construct their own artistic plant pot. Then they will attach and wire the mechanical parts that will make the pot automatically self-watering.

Gizmo Garden is a privately funded Maine Limited Liability Company based in Nobleboro, Maine which supports gender-balanced computer science, electronics, and robotics programs for grades 5 to12 in Maine. Thanks to the Maine State Library, Gizmo Garden programs travel around the state and are free.

Space is limited so registration is required and can be done using the library’s calendar at www.bhpl.net or by calling the library at 374-5515. For more information call the library at 374-5515.
