The public is invited to celebrate the release of Marie Epply’s new book of poetry, Murmur and Flow: Reflecting the Tides of Life, at the Blue Hill Public Library on Tuesday August 20th at 7:00 PM. Murmur and Flow invites the reader to “breathe deeply, hold on, and release into the world all that is enduring about the bonds that connect us to one another and to the power and peace of the natural world.”
Marie Moorehouse Epply is a member of the Academy of American Poets and DownEast Writers. She serves on the steering committee of Word: Blue Hill Literary Arts Festival, a non-profit organization working to build community around the written and spoken word. An educator for her entire career, Marie has developed and taught numerous creative writing and literature courses and holds a Master of Arts from the University of Maine.
This event is co-sponsored by Blue Hill Books, Blue Hill Public Library, and Word: Blue Hill Literary Arts Festival, and it is free and open to all. Books will be available for sale and signing. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
