Open Air Arts Initiative: Mapping Our Landscape

Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Cynthia Winings, and the Seed Barn for a Young Artists Workshop at Talalay Nature Sanctuary. We will hike and explore, looking for paths that wildlife use to think about mapping from a different perspective as well as landmarks important to humans. We will sit in the sun or in shade under a tree and spread out art supplies to make maps of where we went and what we observed. Maybe there will be some natural plant dyes to try out as well! Each person will have the opportunity to make their own map and can get creative with interpretation and medium. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorites along too!
