People who worry about how to find reliable information online, assess sources, and tell whether stories are true or false are invited to a “Digital Media Literacy” workshop at the Blue Hill Public Library on Tuesday, October 15th at 2:00 PM.

BHPL Assistant Director Hannah Cyrus will lead the workshop, which will include information on spotting scams, evaluating information, and finding high-quality research online. Afterward there will be time for participants to ask questions and discuss their own experiences.

This event is sponsored by the library. It is free of charge, and everyone is welcome, but space is limited so advance registration is required. Participants who would like to may bring a computer or use one provided by the library to follow along. For more information contact the library at 374-5515
